Comprehend with Ease

During the 3-day workshop, students will think and analyse critically reading passages to better understand the contents. They will learn how to

  • Do close reading,

  • Use contextual clues to respond appropriately, and

  • Analyse the language.

Over 3 days you'll learn to comprehend 3 components of Paper 2:

  • Visual Text,

  • Narrative Passage, and

  • Factual Essay

During the 3-day workshop, emphasis will be placed on ensuring the question requirement is met, analysing the passages critically and responding appropriately. For the visual text, students will learn to view the text from the perspectives of the one placing the ad and the ones viewing it. Part of the time will be devoted to learning how to edit correctly.
